Good morning, friends! 

I would like to answer a couple of questions I’ve been asked about Hello, Mommy. Some people have asked if Hello, Mommy is a true story and what inspired me to write it. The answer to the first question is, absolutely not! Hello, Mommy is 100% fiction. However, as a mother who’s teenagers presented certain challenges, I found a lot of inspiration in my own heartache combined with a lot of “what ifs.” I also found a measure of healing in writing about this family. Of course, anyone who knows me, knows my twisted side can’t resist throwing in a little bit of crazy. 

I may share a little about those challenges I mentioned and how God brought me through them. I am trying to decide if I’ll blog about it on this page or make its own page. More about that later. 

In other news: I expect to make an announcement by the end of the week. I’m trying not to count my chickens before they hatch. Such practice I’ve had in the art of patience lately. 🙂 Also, there may be some minor changes coming to the site that I believe would be of interest to people. That’s in the planning stage. Stay tuned for news.
