I recently read the first two books in the Roman Soul series by Reagan Colbert, The Hidden Soul and The Soul Set Free. This is an awesome story. It is set around the time of the crucifixion and resurrection, seen through the eyes of the Roman soldier assigned to Jesus’ execution. Marcus’ story drew me in from the beginning. Soul’s Redemption, the third and final book in the series, was just released. It is now on my “to be read” list. If you’re trying to decide your next read, I highly recommend this series by Reagan Colbert.
